I am a Mormon...married to Lisa. We have 5 awesome children. I am a gun rights advocate and believe the 'right to keep and bear arms' refers to an INDIVIDUAL right, as affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court. I like to hunt big game, although I have only ever killed a single buck deer. I am an actor of sorts and have been in many local plays and musicals.

Apples, Berries, Cute Little Dudes, and Stuff

This entry is about lots of stuff. Bear with me.

Bryce was careless and left his 8GB iPod Nano Video in his jeans pocket where it suffered an ignominious death. Because it was still under the manufacturer's warranty, it was replaced at no cost to us.

    Again, yay warranties!

My new BlackBerry Pearl came last week and I am loving it. I hate having stuff in my pockets, so if it's got to be in my pocket, it had better be small and out-of-the-way. This Pearl is not just a phone+email device. It is also a media player and holds my 2 GB media card ever so nicely. I have full Internet access as well and this little thing is WELL worth the price for what it can do.

You know this li'l dude. I can't help but smile when I see him. When his heart breaks, mine breaks. When he is happy, I am happy.

This morning he found my EXPENSIVE prescription sunglasses (polarized, the whole bit) and removed them from existence. Obliterated. They are WELL beyond the grasp of any kind of warranty and will be replaced at some expense. SO cute, but GRRRR.

Today started badly and the more I talked or thought about things, the more frustrated I got. Then I got some bad news from one of my young men leaders which caused me anger and frustration.

Poop always runs/rolls downhill. Some days you're on top of that hill and avoid the mess. Other days you're sitting in your lawn chair with your feet up and sunglasses on when you're bowled over by the proverbial poop wave.

Good thing I have cute kids and a beautiful wife at home who love me. Oh, and good thing for warranties. Again!!!

I just got my prescription/polarized sunglasses - if my cutie obliterated them...UGH! Sorry! I, too, am a firm believer in warranties!

You know that is why they come packaged so cute...it's a survival tactic. And a very good one at that. Man-he is CUTE.

Which Intelligence?

http://www.blogthings.com/whatkindofintelligencedoyouhavequiz/

My results: Your Dominant Intelligence is Interpersonal Intelligence

You shine in your ability to relate to and understand others. Good at seeing others' points of view, you get how people think and feel. You have an uncanny ability to sense true feelings, intentions, and motivations. A natural born leader, you are great at teaching and mediating conflict.

You would make a good counselor, salesperson, politician, or business person.
