    Best Black Beans. Ever.

I've never been fond of black beans at restaurants because I'm always unimpressed. The concept is a great one, don't get me wrong.

Well, I just made the best black beans I've ever had. Lisa took the kids to Dan and Ruby's for dinner and Marshall and I stayed home sick. I tossed some canned black beans into a pot and made some magic beans. These measurements are just estimates, since I only measure things for my potato rolls, so use more or less if you feel the need.

2 cans black beans (rinsed...don't want the slime)
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
    2 teaspoons olive oil
    3 tablespoons diced green onions
    1 teaspoon bacon bits
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon salt

That's it. Cook it all for about 10 minutes, until the green onions are soft.

I plated it on some white rice and a fried egg. The egg was seasoned with salt, pepper, and chili powder.

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Wow! You posted a recipe. And you're a man. Impressive!

I'll be trying out this recipe, because I love black beans, but only when they're amazing!

I have to report that we made your German Pancakes and they were a big hit! As for Black Beans-I don't think I ever touched one until after I was married. Now I have to have them in the house at all times. We love them-I can't wait to try out your estimates.

Which Intelligence?

http://www.blogthings.com/whatkindofintelligencedoyouhavequiz/

My results: Your Dominant Intelligence is Interpersonal Intelligence

You shine in your ability to relate to and understand others. Good at seeing others' points of view, you get how people think and feel. You have an uncanny ability to sense true feelings, intentions, and motivations. A natural born leader, you are great at teaching and mediating conflict.

You would make a good counselor, salesperson, politician, or business person.
