That was when we had 2 kids.
Increased age begets more friends. At least it SHOULD. This year we aren't baking a dang thing. Nada. Zilch. Zip. We compiled a few of our favorite Christmas stories and placed them into little folders for the neighbors. We also have some of these to give away:
Accompanied by this poem that I wrote:
His tiny body, wrapped so tight,
In royal bands of blue and white,
Came to this world, in a stable bare,
To free mankind from every care.
To this end was He born:
Pure blood spilt; his vestments torn.
And laid to rest, wrapped tight once more,
He rose a King; His life restored.
This gift we give, a symbol see,
Of love imparted from Calvary.
This cloth of red to bring to mind,
The Redeemer, Savior, Brother kind.

That's beautiful! Both the idea and the poem. I had no idea you wrote poetry!

Nice poem.
I love the poem. A really neat gift idea too!
Another talent I didn't know about. That is a beautiful poem. I just might have to borrow that and your idea sometime. Let me know if that's ok!
