I am a Mormon...married to Lisa. We have 5 awesome children. I am a gun rights advocate and believe the 'right to keep and bear arms' refers to an INDIVIDUAL right, as affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court. I like to hunt big game, although I have only ever killed a single buck deer. I am an actor of sorts and have been in many local plays and musicals.

    Youth Conference

Well, another psycho weekend has come and gone. I'm afraid that's going to be the theme until my young men get back into high school in September.

In addition to our Trek Reunion, Saturday and Sunday was our Stake Youth Conference. It was one of those youth conferences they do locally to save money, etc. We started out the day doing service projects throughout the stake. We pulled weeds, washed cars, washed windows, pruned trees and roses, removed stumps...you get the picture. After the morning of service came lunch. Then we had some spiritual classes taught by various stake leaders. Then we came outside to enjoy a huge carnival, then dinner. Then we all went home at around 6 PM to shower and get ready for a dance put on by none other than Rockin' Rob and the Houndogs. We got home around 10:30 PM. We closed the whole event with a morningside on Sunday at 7:30 AM. For being early, there were quite a few people that attended. A GREAT time! Here's a few pics.

Which Intelligence?

http://www.blogthings.com/whatkindofintelligencedoyouhavequiz/

My results: Your Dominant Intelligence is Interpersonal Intelligence

You shine in your ability to relate to and understand others. Good at seeing others' points of view, you get how people think and feel. You have an uncanny ability to sense true feelings, intentions, and motivations. A natural born leader, you are great at teaching and mediating conflict.

You would make a good counselor, salesperson, politician, or business person.
