I am a Mormon...married to Lisa. We have 5 awesome children. I am a gun rights advocate and believe the 'right to keep and bear arms' refers to an INDIVIDUAL right, as affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court. I like to hunt big game, although I have only ever killed a single buck deer. I am an actor of sorts and have been in many local plays and musicals.

    Stranger Than Fiction?

This is definitely NOT a fun Friday post. Sorry.

After I started my career with my current employer, a co-worker and I were hired to train in a new position together. After a few years, he left the company and moved to the Phoenix area to live closer to his son.

    Then he died.

    R.I.P., Kent.

Then I switched jobs within my company and started working with another guy. We basically did the same job and got paid the same. We received all the same training and believe me, there was PLENTY of work to go around for the both of us. Then he left the company and moved up to Montana, his home state.

    Then he died.

Then I switched jobs again and started doing what I would consider my "career". It was the position I had wanted for years, and it was finally mine. I received tons of training and spent weeks away from home. Once I returned and got into the groove of the job, my co-worker and mentor fell down in the parking lot. He had a brain tumor. They removed it and he proceeded to have about 3 years worth of chemo-therapy and radiation until he reached his lifetime limit. They burned up copious amounts of brain cells until he could no longer perform his job. Forced to take permanent disability, he lasted for about a year, then they gave him 6 weeks to live. He lasted 3.

    Then he died.

    WEIRD???

So, if you get hired by my company and they tell you you're going to work with me...STRENUOUSLY REFUSE!

Which Intelligence?

http://www.blogthings.com/whatkindofintelligencedoyouhavequiz/

My results: Your Dominant Intelligence is Interpersonal Intelligence

You shine in your ability to relate to and understand others. Good at seeing others' points of view, you get how people think and feel. You have an uncanny ability to sense true feelings, intentions, and motivations. A natural born leader, you are great at teaching and mediating conflict.

You would make a good counselor, salesperson, politician, or business person.
